Such an exciting time. After waiting for weeks for his call to arrive, Sammy opens his mission call to serve in the Honolulu, Hawaii mission speaking Marshallese. Aloha - Sammy Merrill is called to serve in the Hawaii, Honolulu LDS mission speaking Marshalese
Ok, so I wanted to start a blog so that we can easily share some of the letters and experiences Sammy tells us about as he begins this great adventure.
As most of you know, he has been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He will serve in the Hawaii-Honolulu mission and will preach the gospel in the Marshallese language.
He entered the MTC on July 3, 2013, and will be there until August 13.
